Would I be able to set a total price cap for the entire package? (Or pieces to create said outfits?) I.e. if I said total spending had to be $300 or $3,000 – would you be able to tailor the package to my price point?
We can’t promise to stay within an exact price point (adding shoes and accessories to outfits usually makes this a bit tougher), but we will try our best to do so. If given a price point we will make sure we only work with stores that would fit that budget, also stores that either ship to your location or hopefully have brick and mortar stores in your area.
If an outfit doest fit properly what is the process of exchanging it?
We don’t actually do the shopping for you. What we do is create a lookbook with outfits (depending on your package) to meet your likes, dislikes, budget, etc (all based on your answers of our questionnaire). The lookbook will have links to shops where you can buy the items online or you can use the lookbook as a reference when out shopping in your local stores.
The whole process of returning or exchangiing would be different from store to store, but if an outfit we style for you just doesn’t quite work the way we had hoped we would be happy to work with you to perfect that outfit.
Where do you get the clothing items from? Are they from my closet?
We work with items from online shops that fit your price range and shipping location (as well as other criteria that is dictated by your questionnaire answers). You can either buy the items directly from these online shops or use the lookbook as a shopping list when out shopping your local stores. As well we can also help you style items that are currently in your closet, if you specify this and provide URL’s to photographs of items in your closet.
Did the pricing for your packages change? Will it stay the same or go back up?
Yes, we lowered all our prices to be a more affordable service for everyone. We don’t have any plans at the moment to increase prices, our plan is to keep these new prices for a long time. But this may change in the far future if the demand requires.
Can you help me style pieces that are currently in my closet?
Yes we can!! We know not everyone has the budget to buy a new outfit or wardrobe whenever they need it, and we can help you style your current wardrobe to make it feel brand new. This process is a little bit more time consuming for you (the customer), as you will have to take photos of the key items you want help with (upload them to photobucket or flickr) and write a list of the basic items you currently own. Once you purchase the STYLE MY CLOSET package and fill out the questionnaire, paste the URL’s to your clothing photos in the additional information section, along with your list. We will then create your lookbook using items from online shops as place holders to your own items (as this is just an easy way to illustrate).
Can you make my entire lookbook fabric specific?
While we can try our best to follow guidelines you might have for fabric, being too specific on fabric can hinder style possibilities as well as increase the timeline. If you have an expressed need fora specific type of fabric, please contact us as we would be happy to work out a possibility that would work best for you.
If someone lived in another country, and asked for shops only from that country (Australia, UK, etc) would that be possible? (or shops with free international shipping.)
Yes, definitely! There is a field in the questionnaire to enter where you live, we will try our best to choose from stores in your locale or ones that ship to where you live.
